COMMUNITY
ACTIVITIES

Southview seeks to be a church at the heart of it's community and the following are activities which are open to all in and around Chirnside.

The Beacon

"a meeting place at the heart of village life"

Monday - Thursday 9:30am - 12 noon
Friday 9:30am - 2pm

The Beacon is a place where you can have a cup of coffee and a freshly made scone whilst having a chat with friends. You can find out what is happening locally by obtaining information from some of the agencies and groups which operate in Chirnside and the surrounding area. It is staffed entirely by volunteers and is a non profit making venture. Children are welcome and there is a good supply of toys and books for them to enjoy. The Beacon promotes Fairtrade goods where possible and always has a good supply of food and crafts for sale.

*all our hot drinks are fairtrade products*
*free refills available for tea & coffee*
