Musambira Presbyterian Church, Rwanda sending their greetings to Southview in 2005. As a church we have financially supported the building of a school by local Christians.




Berwickshire Christian Youth Trust plays a key role in the Border area of communicating the Christian faith to children and young people. A number of Southview members work closely with the Trust.

The Bolivian Children’s project in Trinidad, Beni, Bolivia provides education, health and leisure for a growing number of children and their families. Lucho and Lorna Velez, who are long term friends of Southview, set are the founding directors of this innovative project

Tearfund is a Christian relief and development agency which operates in many parts of the world. Angus Murray, who grew up in Southview, has worked with Tearfund for a number of years

The Evangelical Alliance seeks to provide a voice for evangelical Christians at a national level and to support and resource individual Christians and churches

Barnabas Fund, a UK based organisation which seeks to highlight the plight of persecuted Christians around the world and bring up to date information to churches and the wider community

Interlink is a Scottish based agency which supports missionaries across the world. Many of the missionaries have strong contacts with Southview and have visited the church over the years.

Partnership is an organisation which seeks to encourage and resource local churches such as Southview which come from an independent tradition of the Christian church. It provides opportunities for networking and training and hosts conferences and consultations on a regular basis.

Christian Action Research and Education seeks to inform churches and individual Christians on matters of political and ethical concern in the UK. It has offices attached to Westminster, Holyrood and Brussels. Wes Erpen is chief executive of Birmingham City Mission. Along with his wife Jacquie, and their family, they are long term friends of Southview. BCM works in many practical ways with the needy and marginalized of the city

Edinburgh Medical Missionary Society, through adopting a holistic approach, seeks to make a difference to the lives of people living in difficult circumstances in countries such as India, Nepal, Israel. Dr Donald MacAllister, a member at Southview, serves on the board of the society.

Along with Fiona, his wife, Donald also organises UK support for the work of Lady Willingdon Hospital, Manali, North India. Staff pictured below.
